The application can be utilised in the field, as an offline application (data stored locally) or, as an online application, using remote access (e.g. Remote Desktop via 3G card) if available for Council.

The MapBasic program utilises MapInfo Professional to deliver the map based interface. Drop-downs, list boxes and auto-populated data all aid the officer to complete the inspection form quickly and accurately.

Special congratulations to Tom Davey for writing the MapBasic application, Malcolm Guy for his excellent project management & Morgan Ellingham for a very eloquent submission.
