Currently, the majority of councils in South Australia utilise PBBI’s corporate solution, MapInfo Exponare – more than any other State in Australia. Exponare is a configurable enterprise application, enabling organisations to manage and deploy maps and data over the Internet or an internal network. Over 40 SA councils also have long-term software and maintenance support contracts with Tonkin Consulting, utilising MapInfo technology.
The Spatial Services team continues to alert councils to progressive opportunities, ways of improving existing processes and problem-solving in new ways.
