The Tonkin Spatial team provides specialist services and GIS support directly to clients and to all discipline areas within the Tonkin Consulting engineering practice. Our team of specialists has wide-ranging experience and skills in all aspects of GIS data collection, maintenance, analysis, metadata, database creation and spatial application development.
The Practice has a long-standing and valued relationship with MapInfo, as well as a strong understanding of MapInfo’s technology and a broad range of skills and expertise in all aspects of spatial data collection, maintenance and analysis. Bringing together our asset management, road surface and engineering skills, we are the perfect mix to gather, maintain and present your data.
As Spatial Information Manager, David McDonald oversees the projects of the Tonkin Spatial team. David has pioneered the use of GIS solutions in an array of projects such as storm water drainage strategy plans, flood event mapping, crash statistic analysis and asset management.
Our team of ten includes three Spatial Account Managers and six spatial and IT consultants – all of whom understand the power of GIS and the benefits of providing a powerful, tailored spatial solution.
As well, our team has a broad experience and skill bases, including:
- spatial solutions for the commercial, local government and public sector areas
- asset management and business solutions
- natural resource and environmental management
- mapping projects and the production of spatial databases
- high-level strategic support and client management.
The Tonkin Spatial Information team also includes an accredited MapInfo Professional Trainer and two accredited MapInfo Exponare consultants. |
